Background

Back in September and October of 2007 Google penalized a large number of directories. These directories’ PR dropped to zero and the sites did not appear in the top 40 rankings of Google‘s search results, not even for their own domain.

Good News

Earlier this year, Google lifted the penalties on all the directories involved.  As of the latest PR update these directories are doing fine. I have just updated my analysis of the directories penalized by Google.  The table shows the latest PageRank for the directories in questions.
